Uniquely for Communist Eastern Europe, their villages became a no-go area for the authorities. We talked to those who remember and who experienced it first hand.

Brilliant, Velislav & Janet. Your virtual museum of 20th Century Bulgaria is expanding every time I come to visit it. And this film is a key piece in that broader story.
