I read some columns of him in the Exile (those which are available on the net) and he was funny and interesting and so on. But then i did some research and found out he is the leader of some National Bolshevik party (with an outrageous programme) and his stories of his Bosnian war episode are far fetched. I am also a researcher of these sad "yugoslav wars" and was completely baffled after seeing him with Karadzic, who is an idiot and says to his companions on the video: "This is a very very famous writer from Russia." Baaaah ... just convict that monkey. No damage would be done if they lock up Limonov too.
